Flat Feet Orthotics, did you choose the right one?

No one wants to live in pain or discomfort. Particularly when it comes to one of the most essential, human life skills, walking.

Flat feet is a postural deformity in which the arches of the foot collapse, with the entire sole of the foot coming into complete or near-complete contact with the ground. People with flat feet or fallen arches either have no arch under their foot. This can lead to pain in the foot and other parts of the body.

Flat Feet

Beyond discomfort, flat feet affect the rest of your body too. Not only can flat feet cause skeletal misalignment, but they can exacerbate existing foot conditions including inflammation of your heel.

About flat feet, we should understand these things:

1. Boys and girls before the age of 16 are expected to correct their flat feet.

If your child has a flat foot, it is best to correct it as soon as possible. For the boys before the age of 18 or the girls before the age of 16,they have the chance to correct their flat feet because their lower limbs have not yet fully developed. In other words the child's flat feet is possible to cure by wearing professional correction insoles to reshape the arch. That is to let children benefit for a lifetime. But if you wait until your child reaches adulthood, wearing a corrective insole can only improve the symptoms, but it is not correcting the alignment of the skeleton.

2. Orthotics insoles should be tailored.

Some parents go online to buy a pair of ready-made orthopedic insoles for their children after they know their kids have flat feet. Some children feel that the symptoms have improved, but some have complained of more serious discomfort. How is this going? The reason is that orthotic insoles require strict fitting and tailor-made.Each child's arch situation will be different, though they are all suffer from flat feet. And even the right and the left foot arches of the same child may be very different ( One is a flat foot, the other one is normal.) so orthotics insole should be tailored.

3. No symptoms, it does not mean there is no hidden trouble.

There is a small group of children have flat feet, but they do not feel uncomfortable. As a result, parents feel that there is no problems on thier children's feet. In fact, it is because some children have better physical compensation, or they themselves are inactive, the symptoms are not obvious. No symptoms do not means no problem. As the children' age increases, their bodies are unable to compensate, all kinds of discomfort will appear, and they may have neck and shoulder pain, low back pain and other problems in adulthood earlier than the normal population.

It's time for a solution, and nothing is better than a suitable orthotics insoles for flat feet. Don't let discomfort stop you from taking an active part in your own life. Flat feet is not something to be taken lightly as it can lead to some very serious health problems.
