201801291337021886667.jpgPlantar Fasciitis is a common and often painful condition in which the plantar fascia, a thick, fibrous band of tissue on the bottom surface of the foot, becomes strained and inflamed. When these tissues are stretched repeatedly or too aggressively, the fibers can break down where the tissue extends from the heel bone to the toes, causing aching pain. It is estimated that approximately 2 million Americans a year suffer from plantar fasciitis. It is often a chronic, reoccurring condition and can be difficult to treat. COMMON SYMPTOMS OF PLANTAR FASCIITIS
