3. DEFORMITY OF THE FOOT

 

Only a small percentage of the population is born with difficulties with their feet. High arches, flat feet, hammertoe, claw toe, mallet toe, and bunions are all examples of foot abnormalities that can cause back and knee pain. These malformations can alter the way you walk, causing the cartilage in your joints to wear down and the ligaments and tendons to be stretched beyond their usual range of motion.
