What is difference between EVA and memory foam

EVA and memory foam are two different materials used in footwear insoles to provide cushioning and support for the feet.

EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a lightweight, durable foam material that provides good shock absorption. It is commonly used in athletic shoes and sandals and is known for its firmness, making it suitable for those who require additional stability or motion control.

Memory foam, on the other hand, is made of polyurethane and other chemicals that respond to heat and pressure to contour to the shape of the foot. It offers custom comfort and support by conforming uniquely to the wearer’s foot shape, providing more cushion and softer feel than EVA.

In summary, EVA is firmer and more supportive while memory foam is softer and provides more customized comfort. The choice between them depends on individual needs and preferences.
